Pierre-Auguste Renoir Exhibit

We set up an exhibition about Pierre-Auguste Renoir and his art. The first thing we did was make teasers to promote the event. 

I used a photo of Renoir to create a silhouette and filled it using an impressionist brush from Photoshop. My teammate stylized a photo of Renoir and made it appear like a painting. We used Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to make the teasers.

I made this poster about Renoir's life and art. I used light, soothing colors and lots of flowers in order to portray Renoir's style. I made this poster in Adobe Photoshop.

My teammate made this poster to advertise the event. She used paintings from all the artists in this exhibition. She made this poster using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. 

I made bookmarks with parts of Renoir's paintings on them as a giveaway item. I used Adobe Photoshop to make these bookmarks.

I made these name tags using Adobe Photoshop. I tried to make the design consistent with the designs for the other items, especially the . I used the same colors and flowers in order to make the whole exhibit cohesive.

And here are some photos of the completed display. We tried to decorate our corner to reflect Renoir's art style by adding lots of flowers and vivid colors.

We decorated the bookmarks with string knots and gave them away to the guests. My teammate also got the idea to decorate the bench next to our corner with flowers, paintbrushes, and watercolors, among other things, in order to make it feel like Renoir's corner.

As an activity, we asked people to paint flowers on a paper canvas since Renoir often incorporated flowers into his paintings.
